While I'm glad I read it, and it has absolutely made me wish to read more about the life of this celebrated man, I'm not sure I'll pick up another book by this author. There was just something about the blend of realism and Native American mysticism that was far-fetched. The fact that this historical information is interwoven into a fictional narrative with emotions and dialogue made it feel all the more real to me and much more readable than a straightforward historical account.
